Hampson Sisler
Hampson Sisler is one of the most prolific American classical composers living today. His first works were published at age nineteen starting with the H.W.Gray Co. and going on, with time, to Jos. Fischer & Co., Belwin Mills, World Library, Laurendale and Morning Star. He has written more than one hundred works for solo instruments, organ, voice, choir and orchestra. His works have been performed in his native United States as well as Argentina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Israel, Philippines, Portugal, Russia and the Ukraine, etc. The majority of his orchestral works have been recorded on the MSR Classics label.

HAMPSON SISLER 1932
Albert Hampson Sisler ( New York City , August 13 1932 ) is an American composer , conductor , organist and ophthalmologist.Bio | Interview
Sisler had great musical talent as a child. At the age of five talented at piano playing. When he was eleven years old, he focused on the organ and played in several churches. Mentors David McWilliams, organist and choirmaster at the St. Bartholomew's Church in New York City Later Norman Coke-Jephcott of Saint John the Divine Cathedral in New York City. He was the youngest member of the American Guild of Organists at the age of 17. He studied at the Trinity College of Music in London and received his diploma as a performing organist and organ teacher.
He is music director of the Central Presbyterian Church in New York City, as was the famous composer Charles Ives. Besides his work as an organist, he has composed more than 100 works of various genres. In New York City, he is well known as an eye doctor ( Ophthalmologist ). He is 2nd president of the International Society for Orbital Disorders (ISOD) in Amsterdam.
